We identify all potential issues in your home so you avoid costly surprises. And we present it all to you in a comprehensive, an easy to read report.
A thorough inspection of your home by a licensed professional inspector during the home-buying process ensures you are equipped with all the information about your prospective purchase, including any immediate or long term repairs you may need to make to the home.
While you are not required to be there for the inspection, Got Your Six NY Home Inspections recommends you be there and follow alongside the inspector (Andrew) so he can explain what he sees in real time. The written report you receive following the actual inspection will then organize all the information by category and alert you to the most pressing issues, if any arise.
No one else (the home owner, bank, etc.) receives a copy of the report. A home inspection report produced by Got Your Six NY Home Inspections is for you the home buyer, or you the owner (if you are getting your own home inspected for your own knowledge. We offer our annual Safety Inspections to spot any potential areas of concern which could result in extensive damage and costly repairs).You may choose to share the report with your realtor, but that is up to you.
We will meet you promptly at the home address you have provided to us. If this is a home purchase, your realtor or the seller’s realtor should be present to grant us access to the property. We also hope you can attend the inspection, but understand if you cannot. We provide you with a comprehensive, easy-read report within 48 hours of the inspection and are available to answer any of your questions.

While we recommend you be present for the inspection of your (prospective) home, you do not need to be there. We do need someone authorized to grant us access to the property in order to conduct the inspection. In addition, we offer evening appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and all day on Saturdays. You can see our calendar and book your inspection online today!
